Join KungFuEssay | Freelance Academic Writers

Behind every polished piece of writing is someone who researched, questioned, revised, proofread, and cared about the details.

At KungFuEssay, we are looking for writers who genuinely respect the craft of writing.

This is not a role for people searching for quick money or shortcuts. It is for writers who value professionalism, reliability, intellectual curiosity, and the simple principle of doing what you said you would do.

Working as a freelance writer can also be an opportunity to continuously sharpen your own skills. You may encounter unfamiliar disciplines, different university assessment systems, new referencing conventions, and questions you have never considered before. Every project can become another opportunity to research, learn, and become a stronger writer.

What We Look For

We welcome applicants who demonstrate:

• Overseas university study experience and familiarity with international academic environments
• Strong academic English, research, writing, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with major referencing systems, including APA, Harvard, MLA, and Chicago
• Strong independent research and learning ability
• Reliability, honesty, and professional communication
• Respect for agreed deadlines
• Careful proofreading and attention to detail regardless of project length
• Willingness to respond constructively to feedback and reasonable revision requests
• A genuine commitment to producing original work without plagiarism, AI-generated submissions, or shortcuts

A prestigious university on your CV is certainly valuable, but it does not automatically make someone a great writer.

Ultimately, the quality of your work speaks for itself.

Who Should Not Apply?

KungFuEssay is probably not the right fit if you are looking primarily for fast and easy money, routinely depend on generative AI to complete writing tasks, frequently miss agreed deadlines, abandon projects after accepting them, or struggle to communicate when problems arise.

We also appreciate writers who think independently and challenge ideas. But there is a difference between constructive professional disagreement and making every conversation unnecessarily difficult.

We would rather find writers who genuinely fit our working culture than force a collaboration that neither side enjoys.

What KungFuEssay Offers

As a KungFuEssay freelance writer, you can expect opportunities to:

• Work with subjects and academic disciplines from around the world
• Strengthen your research, writing, analytical, and coaching skills
• Become familiar with different assessment structures, rubrics, and academic conventions
• Take on projects appropriate to your expertise and availability
• Receive clear communication and recognition based on the actual quality of your work
• Build a longer-term working relationship with a team that values dependable writers

We don’t expect every applicant to know everything.

Knowledge can be learned. A new referencing style can be researched. An unfamiliar concept can be studied.

What matters much more to us is something surprisingly simple:

Be reliable.
